Our Stay at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on Big Island, Hawaii
you may have noticed that Hawaii is my favorite place in the world. But which island on Hawaii can I recommend? It was my first time on Big Island and I thought this Hawaiian island was really fascinating! Many people believe that you cannot visit Big Island anymore due to the volcano erruption a few months ago. That is not true though! The lava only hit a very small part of the island. Big Island (like its name already reveals) is a very big island so most part of it has not been affected.
That’s how it looks like 😉 Hence, you should not miss out on visiting this beautiful island!
We actually had our most amazing Hawaii experience on Big Island when we got to swim with wild Dolphins. That was a real magical experience which I will never forget! Btw I’m extremely against captivation of wild animals. Thus please never visit any water parks where dolphins or whales are held in captivation!!! If you meet those beautiful creatures in their natural habitat and they play with you because they want to it’s the best feeling in the world 🙂
Our hotel on Big Island was the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. I’m anyways a big Four Seasons fan and this hotel really impressed me. I could even say that it has become our favorite hotel in Hawaii ever 🙂
That is for instance related to the beautiful Design of the hotel which is very natural. It just fits perfectly to Hawaii and it’s still luxurious at the same time. The resort is also very big and there are several pools, beaches, etc. so you won’t get bored. Furthermore, many activities are offered. We for instance also booked swimming with dolphins directly via the resort.
Our Room was a Superior Suite Ocean View on the first floor. We had a beautiful view over the natural pond of the resort and our suite was also very spacious.
If you are a foody like myself Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is the place to be! The breakfast was excellent and we also really enjoyed a romantic dinner at the Asian restaurant.
The sunsets on Big Island were hard to beat as well 🙂
Overall I can fully recommend the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai! We really enjoyed our stay there and I hope it won’t be the last one 🙂
Have you ever been to Hawaii? And if so: Which island(s) have you visited?
