Have you ever been to Malta? I discovered this beautiful place on earth just a while ago and literally fell in love with Malta! From Germany it’s only around a 2 1/2 hours flight until you reach this beautiful island. There are many paradise like places in Malta such as the Blue Lagoon where you find water just like in the Maldives. A separate blog post with many Travel Tips for Malta will follow 🙂

Today I wanna introduce the (in my opinion) best hotel in Malta to you guys: The Hilton Malta. It is located in Portomaso which is probably the most luxurious place on the entire island. There are many restaurants, supermarkets, nice beaches etc. just in walking distance. Thus, the Location of the hotel could not be any better.

Hilton Malta especially stands out through its incredible Design! The hotel has been renovated just recently which you will definitely recognize after entering it. It seems like a brand new hotel due to its beautiful interior of the rooms as well as the entire hotel area.

Our rom was a Relaxation Suite which offered stunning views. We had two large balconies where we could watch the most beautiful sunset (even from the bathtub) 😀 We really felt like home here.

The core of the hotel is its stunning Pool though. If you go swimming here in the morning (even during main season) you will most likely have it all to yourself 🙂 Also the adjacent beach is really beautiful so you are able to easily switch between swimming in the sea and the pool.

What we also recognized very positively is the amazing Food at Hilton Malta. We were especially impressed by the excellent breakfast buffet including many healthy food options. Also the Room Service was amazing and we really enjoyed having breakfast on our balcony 🙂

I can also recommend you to have dinner at the Thai restaurant Blue Elephant. I’m usually not the biggest fan of Asian food but the Pad Thai there was one of the best I’ve ever had. Also the atmosphere at Blue Elephant is really nice and romantic so it’s the perfect location for a date. You can also eat here if you’re not a hotel guest.

Also besides swimming you can stay active at Hilton Malta because the hotel has an amazing Gym. You can become a member of the Hilton Health Club even if you are not a hotel guest. As a woman I find the atmosphere there really relaxed because there are many other women working out in the gym and all the people at Hilton Health Club are very nice. For instance you are not starred at doing your squats etc. 😀

Overall I can fully recommend Hilton Malta and would come back there anytime 🙂

    I recently went to Malta but we stayed in a place called Mellieha, in the North. Whilst we were there we went to comino and Gozo. Comino with the stunning blue lagoon! ????

    Malta is stunning island, you are right????????????❤ I have visited Malta twice in 2015 & 2016, that’s where I won the competition Miss European Tourism, so this place will always have a very special place in my heart????????????????????❤ I have stayed in different hotels, but Hilton looks really amazing???? That location is really the best, I definitely will stay there when visiting Malta next time????????????✈

    I completely agree with your overview of The Hilton Malta, an exceptional hotel with exceptional staff and outstanding service at all times and at all levels. One point ☝️ can you tell me where the beach ???? is next to this hotel, we’ve been so many times and there isn’t a sandy beach here….but who needs a beach when you have amazing outdoor pools looked after by the wonderful Martin and his team.

    I’ve been twice. Once I stayed in sliema and the second at the port in gozo. I loved staying in gozo because we had a really nice sea view all the time. Sliema was nice just because it was central.. your pictures make me want to stay at the Hilton next time though!

    This is amazing! Very beautiful and interesting hotel, would be satisfied to come and vacation there. I will plan a return trip, maybe this could be my recommendation. I’ve never been here before, surely this will be a wonderful moment when I’m there. I can not wait! zuiddrenthe.nl
