My New Travel Tips for Bali & Nusa Penida

My New Travel Tips for Bali & Nusa Penida

Hi lovelies,

one year ago I visited Bali for the first time. Read my blogpost with many travel tips here. Because my boyfriend mentioned Bali as being among his dream destinations I wanted to surprise him with a Bali trip for his birthday. This time we visited some of the places that I enjoyed most and also discovered lots of new places in Bali. Today I wanna introduce some new Travel Tips for Bali to you guys (of course all old ones are still valid ๐Ÿ˜‰ ):

Don’t forget to watch our Video with many more cool Travel Tips for Bali:

1) Visit Nusa Penida

Nusa Penida is pure paradise and definitely one of the most beautiful places that I’ve ever seen! It’s an island which you can reach by only a 30 minute ferry ride from the main island Bali. There are several ferries from Bali to Nusa Pendia daily so we decided to spend the day there. If you wanna stay the night at Nusa Penida there are also some hotels on the island but I heard they are all not very good. In the end we regretted though not having spent the night there because one day was simply not enough time to explore all of Nusa Penida ๐Ÿ™ We also did the mistake that we didn’t organize transportation beforehand. Upon arrival there were unfortunately zero taxis available so we had to rent a scooter. In the end we thought that wasn’t such a bad idea because scooters are on Nusa Penida really the best (and also the fastest) means of transportation. Even though Nusa Penida is quite a poor island the landscape there is so stunning that in my opinion visiting Nusa Penida is a MUST during ever Bali visit!!

2) Go for a Swim at Kelingking Beach

The most beautiful place on Nusa Penida is in my opinion Kelingking Beach. Via a bit steep hike you reach the observatory from which you have the most stunning panorama! We really couldn’t believe our eyes when we got there ๐Ÿ˜€ Because we unfortunately didn’t have enough time on Nusa Penida we couldn’t go for a swim at Kelingking Beach ๐Ÿ™ The beach was so empty though and so stunning that we wanted to jump in immediately ๐Ÿ˜€ Hence, definitely visit Kelingking Beach at least once in your lifetime!

3) Visit Broken Beach

You can get another stunning panorama at Broken Beach. We flew a lot with our drone there which was so much fun! You can also take the most beautiful pics there ๐Ÿ™‚ Btw you can order our drone directly here.

4) Fly to Bali with a good Airline

Bali is really far away from Europe. Thus, it is super important flying with a good airline to Bali. This time we did the completely right thing because we flew with KLM. My cousin is a pilot there so I have a special connection to this airline. But even when I look at it completely objectively, KLM is my number one favorite airline in Europe and among my favorite airlines in the world! Especially excellent are the service and the food on board KLM. But also the entire product is amazing! During our flight to Bali we flew in the KLM Economy Class and on the return flight to Europe we flew in their Business Class. During our flight to Bali I was really surprised how large the seats and especially the leg space was. Our return flight was of course even better. But even if you don’t have the budget to book a Business Class flight, the Economy Class of KLM is also amazing! Another great thing is that KLM also has an Economy Comfort Class that you can choose as an extra option. It does not cost much more than the regular Economy Class but offers a lot more leg space and you can also decline your seat further. Overall, I can definitely recommend KLM (independent of the booking class)!

5) Schwim under Waterfalls

Bali really has super stunning water falls and it is breath-taking swimming under them! Our favorite one was the Banyumala Waterfall followed by the Tegenungan Waterfall. The first one is much less touristy but it is also harder to get there. It is definitely worth the effort though!

6) Visit the Hanging Gardens

Hanging Gardens of Bali is a hotel which has become famous due to it’s stunning pool. Unfortunately when it comes to service and overall quality the hotel cannot reach up to other five star hotels. However, you won’t need to be a hotel guest there in order to take advantage of the pool. On the hotel website you can just book day pass so you can spend an entire day at the pool. Be prepared though that many guests wanna take pics at the pool so you will hardly ever have it all to yourself ๐Ÿ˜€

7) Spend a day at the Spa

Bali is know for having the most beautiful spas and the best massages in the world. Hence, definitely schedule a day at the spa when you’re there. The price level on Bali is overall quite low so treatments are usually much cheaper than in other places around the world.

8) Celebrate a special Occasion in Bali

The service in Bali is really excellent! We were so lucky that we got to spend my boyfriend’s birthday in the most beautiful hotel in Bali: The Four Seasons Sayan Resort. The employees were so sweet there and assisted me a lot with making my boyfriend’s birthday his best day ever. Due to the excellent service in Bali it is very suited for celebraring special occasions there ๐Ÿ™‚

9) Walk through a Bali Gate

There are various gates and temples in Bali but this one was our favorite. Isn’t it just magical?! ๐Ÿ˜€ I cannot wait to show you our drone footage we took there ๐Ÿ˜€

10) Take a Drone with you

During my first Bali visit one year ago I didn’t take my drone with me because I thought it’s not allowed flying the drone in Bali. This isn’t the case though! This time we really took a lot of stunning drone clips so I cannot wait to show you our Bali video. Although there are even two Bali videos coming up because we filmed an FMA and an inspo video for you guys ๐Ÿ™‚ Btw you can order my drone (which I simply love!!!) directly here.

Bali really impressed me once again so it definitely wasn’t my last time there ๐Ÿ™‚

Have you ever been to Bali? And if so: How did you like it there?

Xoxo
