I’ve found my dream island! Its name is PER AQUUM Niyama and it is located in the Maldives 🙂 Already upon our arrival we couldn’t believe our own eyes because the colors on this island are simply out of this world!

Although it is not one island but rather two! The resort is distributed over two islands which are connected via a jetty. One island is called “Play” and it is aimed (like the name already reveals) towards families. The kids club is for instance located there. The other island is called “Chill” and it is rather aimed towards couples. Here you can for instance find all of the water villas. I think the whole concept of having two different islands is just brilliant! Of course every hotel guest can use all amenities (such as the different pools, restaurants etc.) on both islands. Nevertheless, couples and families are this way mostly among themselves. Such a great idea!

You can reach PER AQUUM Niyama via water airplane which takes approximately one hour from Malé. In Malé you can wait for your flight in a wonderful lounge where you already get excited for your flight. Because flying with a water airplane is really something special 🙂

We had the honor testing two different accommodations during our stay at PER AQUUM Niyama. On our first night we stayed at a Beach Studio with Pool. How sweet is this personalized wooden sign please? 😀

The second night we were able to switch to a Deluxe Water Studio with Pool. Being a big fan of water villas I was of course most impressed by our water villa. I just love waking up in the morning with a view over the water or on the water 🙂 Our water villa at PER AQUUM Niyama was simply a dream! I immediately fell in love with our infinity pool and our bathroom including the panorama bathtub and outside shower 🙂

There are some people who still prefer Beach Villas though which are on PER AQUUM Niyama also very beautiful! You get to choose among several beach villa categories (depending on the amount of people or desired size). Especially the jungle bathroom of the beach villas are super nice 🙂

PER AQUUM Niyama is very large and thus offers tons of opportunities for you to never get bored. For instance, there are nine (!) different Restaurants on PER AQUUM Niyama. Hence, we couldn’t even test all of them 😀 Our personal favorite (or secret tip) was the teppanyaki at “The Nest“. This was maybe the best food we’ve ever had! Of course the other restaurants at PER AQUUM Niyama were amazing as well!

Being a big breakfast lover PER AQUUM Niyama als didn’t disappoint me. The Breakfast there including waffles, fresh juices, fruit etc. was incredible! I also loved the location of the two breakfast restaurants because both are located by a beautiful infinity pool. Thus, you can already watch the water airplane taking off while having breakfast 😀

Although having breakfast in our villa was also amazing! Hence, you should also test the Room Service at least once 🙂

You should also test the Underwater Restaurant on PER AQUUM Niyama. There aren’t many underwater restaurants in the Maldives (and even in the world). Therefore, don’t miss it 😉

For the best sunset I can recommend you having a sundowner at Edge…

… or simply watching it at the Beach because we were fortunate enough being able to see the most beautiful sunset ever there 🙂

Of course you can also fully relax on PER AQUUM Niyama! How about having a massage in the wonderful Limes Spa along with this view? 😀

The Beach at the resort is also stunning! Because the island (or rather two) are so big there are many different beach segments where you feel like being on a secluded island 🙂

Every island also has its own Infinity Pool which are both super nice! For families I recommend you using the pool close to Blu restaurant, for families I can recommend you using the main pool.

If you are traveling with kids PER AQUUM Niyama is 100% the perfect place for you! I’ve never seen such a great Childcare like at this resort. The Kids Club offers an amazing program for different age groups. Hence, I will definitely come back whenever I have kids 😀

A secret tip of mine for all Surf fans: In May there will also be the option at PER AQUUM Niyama to go surfing almost throughout the entire year. This is very rare in the Maldives and really something special! We will definitely also come back for that 🙂

As you can see: I cannot stop talking positive about this stunning resort and I’ve really fallen in love with PER AQUUM Niyama! I can especially recommend the hotel for families but it is also absolutely suitable for couples or friends. I hope to return to this paradise island real soon 🙂

My Secret Tips for PER AQUUM Niyama:

1) Book a teppanyaki lunch or dinner at “The Nest”

2) Order once breakfast to your villa

3) Watch the sunset at “Edge” bar
