El Nido, Palawan & Apulit Island El Nido Resorts

El Nido, Palawan & Apulit Island El Nido Resorts

I can only mention it again how stunning Philippines and especially Palawan is!! Last year I visited Coron in Palawan. This year I really wanted to see El Nido in Palawan. For our last hotel in El Nido we choseΒ Apulit Island by El Nido Resorts. You can reach Apulit Island from El Nido in approximately 2 hours. First there is a one hour drive to Tay Tay Bay. From there it takes approximately one hour via boat to reach Apulit Island. Upon arrival paradise is already waiting for you πŸ™‚

On the day of our arrival the weather was quite cloudy but the colors onΒ Apulit Island were still stunning! I mean just look at this turquoise πŸ˜€

All rooms in the resort are Water Villas. Because I’m a huge fan of water villas this was a big plus for me! Our water villa was a regular Water Cottage. There are also Loft Water Cottages which are a bit more spacious. Our water villa wasn’t huge but very nicely decorated. I especially fell in love with our terrace and the view over the water πŸ™‚

Really beautiful is also the Pool on Apulit Island. You feel like being in a tropical paradise here πŸ˜€

The Beach on Apulit Island is also stunning so you can easily switch between ocean and pool πŸ™‚

Every guest in the resort is there on full board. The Food is always buffet food which is excellent though! Especially the grilled seafood was incredible! If every food was as good as the one on Apulit Island I would definitely always prefer buffet food πŸ˜€

Furthermore many Excursions were also inclusive. Unfortunately during our stay the weather wasn’t as good so we couldn’t do any excursions. However, there are also many Activities for you to choose of such as hiking, rock climbing, snorkle trips, island hopping, stand up paddle boarding etc. We at least tried stand up paddle boarding which was super fun πŸ™‚

Apulit Island is a real paradise for drones so of course Rudi (my drone) also had to fly a little πŸ˜€ Read the Review about my Drone here.

Even though our stay was with two nights much too short we really had a wonderful time on Apulit Island. El Nido Resorts has some other beautiful resorts in El Nido so we will definitely test more of them next time πŸ™‚

Have you ever been to El Nido or the Philippines?

Xoxo

Thank you for this review! By the way, i thought drones are not allowed in the island? Im planning to bring a drone also. Did you ask special arrangements or permits? Thanks.
