15 Feb Our Stay at Tanjong Jara Resort in Malaysia
Have you ever had really bad weather on vacation? Unfortunately this happend to us and we’ve had only bad weather the past four days with mainly grey skies, lots of wind and heavy rain 🙁 This was really unfortunate because our hotel in Malaysia, the Tanjong Jara Resort, is simply stunning and we would have loved to experience it in good weather. The pictures you can see here have been taken during the very few minutes of sunshine we’ve had here 😀
Nevertheless, the weather didn’t influence our mood and we still really enjoyed our stay at Tanjong Jara Resort which is located on the East Coast of Malaysia 🙂
This was firstly related to the fact that we stayed at this beautiful Beach Villa with direct sea view. Thus, we already woke up in the morning with a dream view and fell asleep in the evening along with the sound of the sea. Due to the weather we spent much more time here than usual. Our villa was so cosy though that we didn’t mind. It was also possible to rent movies at the resort so we enjoyed some nice and relaxed evenings with candlelight and a good moview 🙂
Secondly, our positive impression of the resort was related to the really excellent Service of the employees at Tanjong Jara Resort. I’ve hardly ever had SUCH a perfect service… and this means something 😉
Furthermore we stayed very active here and for instance went to the Gym everyday. It’s a very nice gym with good cardio and weights equipment so my boyfriend and I were very happy about this!
The hotel also offers many Activities and Excurions (of which we unfortunately had to cancel some due to the weather) such as:
- Picknick on the beach
- Various water sports
- Excursions via boat
- Different exercise classes
- Personal trainer lessons
- Dinner along with the stars
And much, much more…
I also really loved the Spa or rather Spa Village at Tanjong Jara Resort. I was able to enjoy a 100-minutes long Signature Rose Treatment which was actually one of the best I’ve ever had! The design of the spa is really stunning. All treatment rooms are actually treatment villas which offer a lot of space and privacy. Hence, the spa is especially suited for couples.
Also the Food at the resort was excellent! We especially loved the opulent breakfast buffet which offered a great selection of Asian and Western dishes 🙂 There are three different restaurants for you to choose of.
Very nice are also the two Pools of the hotel which we unfortunately didn’t have a chance to use.
The Beach is very nice as well 🙂
Despite the bad weather we had a very nice stay at Tanjong Jara Resort and hope to come back here with better weather. Tomorrow we are off to the Malaysian island Langkawi where the weather is supposed to be better so we hope for the best 😀
