13 Feb One Night in Kuala Lumpur – Petronas Twin Towers & Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur
Have you ever been to Kuala Lumpur or Malaysia? It’s my very first time here and I’m very positively surprised about this beautiful country! The people here are extremely friendly, the lanscape is stunning and Kuala Lumpur as a city is very modern and very clean. Unfortunately we were only able to spend one night there on our way to the east coast of Malaysia and to Langkawi. Follow our travels here. I can recommend you though spending a bit more time to get to know Kuala Lumpur because it is really worth exploring 🙂
We stay at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur which was the best decision ever! I believe there isn’t any better hotel in the city than the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. From our room we had a direct view over the Petronas Twin Towers. This wasn’t only fascinating when we arrived at night but also when we woke up in the morning along with lots of sunshine and a delicious breaky in bed 🙂
Also the Food at our hotel was excellent. For dinner I can recommend you visiting the restaurant “ThirtyEight“. It is (like the name already reveals) located on the 38th floor. From there you cannot only enjoy a breath-taking view over the Twin Towers but also experience excellent food in an excellent ambience! When we were there many birthdays and anniversaries took place and each time the table was decorated very nicely with rose petals and other beautiful things. You can also eat there as a non-hotel guest which I can really recommend to anyone.
Besides that Thirty Eight also offers an amazing breakfast. I’ve hardly ever seen such an incredible breakfast buffet selection. For instance I saw they had hummus, whole grain bread, fresh juices, different egg dishes and many other Asian and Western dishes. Although the Room Service at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is also really worth trying out. Especially when you have such a view from your room 😀
We also really loved the Hotel Pool at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. We felt like staying in some kind of tropical paradise while being in the middle of the city 😀
As you can tell we really enjoyed staying in Kuala Lumpur and we were very happy with our hotel choice. I can recommend our hotel, the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, by 100% 🙂
