Have you ever been to Maldives? It was my third time and I’m totally overwhelmed again! Nowhere the water is this turquoise like in the Maldives 😀

Because we spent NYE in Dubai (read my blog post here) our flight to Maldives was with only four hours really short this time. Hence, it was also no problem for us to take another airplane to our first Maldives island. We flew only approximately one hour to a local island, then around half an hour to the resort. Paradise was already waiting for us!

The island Jumeirah Dhevanafushi is in contrast to other islands in the Maldives rather small which has the advantage of pure relaxation. You feel like being on a remote island. The beaches there are also stunning! Hence, the island is especially suited for couples who really wanna relax on vacation.

Our villa was a Beach Villa with two Bedrooms. We even had our own pool and direct access to a stunning beach.

In addition the the beach villas there are also Water Villas on Jumeirah Dhevanafushi which are located on another island that you can reach via boat. Hence, the water villas enjoy some extra privacy but every hotel guest can also certainly use all restaurants, beaches etc. of the main island.

Our villa already had a pool but even more beautiful is the big Infinity Pool of Jumeirah Dhevanafushi which is open for all hotel guests. Here, you can also watch the most stunning sunset 🙂

Also the Food on the island was excellent! We especially recognized the decorating skills of the chefs because all meals were beautifully arranged 🙂

Being a big breakfast lover I loved every morning having breakfast on the beach. This is not possible at every hotel in the Maldives so it was a big advantage of Jumeirah Dhevanafushi.

Another special feature of the island is the stunning Spa! Talise Spa on Jumeirah Dhevanafushi was really the most beautiful spa I’ve ever seen! We were able having a couple’s massage here which was really excellent! And the best part of it was the glassbottom floor so we could watch the fish while having the massage. Hence, this was the first massage where I mainly kept my eyes open 😀

Also the Gym on the island was amazing as you had a really nice view from there. The hotel gym is always very important to me and the gym on Jumeirah Dhevanafushi was absolutely amazing, especially during sunset time 😀

If you think that you can get bored on Jumeirah Dhevanafushi you are mistaken! Even though the island is rather small there are many Activities and Excursions for you to choose from. How about doing some Parasailing for instance?

A Secret Tip of mine is visiting the picknick island of Jumeirah Dhevanafushi. The island is hard to beat when it comes to colors and the lunch there was better than in many gourmet restaurants 🙂 We really enjoyed our day there!

Overall our stay at Jumeirah Dhevanafushi was really nice and I can definitely recommend this island. In my opinion it is especially suited for couples who are looking for the pure relaxation on vacation or wanna spend some romantic moments together. Because that is definitely possible on Jumeirah Dhevanafushi 🙂

My Secret Tips for Jumeirah Dhevanafushi:

1) Do some parasailing

2) Book a day on the picknick island

3) Workout in the gym during sunset time
