23 Sep My Birthday & and our Stay at The St. Regis Mauritius Resort
I celebrated my birthday this year in a very special location: Mauritius. Unfortunately we were not so lucky with the weather there because it was super windy and therefore also quite cold. Nevertheless, I will still remember this birthday many years from now 🙂
We were able to spend three nights at the wonderful The St. Regis Mauritius Resort. Today I wanna show you some pictures from my birthday there and introduce our stay at St. Regis Mauritius Resort to you guys:
I especially loved the Beach at the resort. On a nice day the colors there are simply stunning and you can do many different activities such as kitesurfing, paragliding, stand up paddle boarding etc. Hence, you will definitely never get bored at St. Regis Mauritius Resort 🙂
The Pool at St. Regis Mauritius Resort is also super beautiful! Because it is right next to the beach you can easily switch between sea and pool 🙂
Actually the entire area around the hotel offers much variety. We for instance went hiking one day to Le Morne. This hike is really something for good hikers or rather rock climbers. Hence, I can definitely recommend it to all active people because the view from up there is simply stunning 🙂
Not only the Location but also the Food at St. Regis Mauritius Resort was excellent! Especially the seafood restaurant Boat House was our absolute favorite place. We enjoyed especially the lobster dinner there where all different kinds of lobster dishes were served 🙂
At breakfast I might have expected a bit more choices as well as a bit quicker service as we sometimes had to wait quite long until our coffee arrived. However, the regular Service at the hotel was excellent and all employees are really skilled and friendly!
Amazing was also the very well-equipped Gym which is open 24 hours. Therefore, we crazy girls could also train after midnight and had the entire gym all to ourselves 😉
Also the Spa of St. Regis Mauritius Resort was so beautiful! Ekaterina had a nice massage and I had a great facial there. The spa uses very luxurious products of Vemont and the facial I had was really amazing 🙂
Our Room was a Junior Suite. It could have been a bit bigger considering it’s a suite but the bathroom was super nice and huge. Plus the beds were the most comfortable beds ever!! We slept so well here 🙂
All hotel staff was extremely motivated and we felt very welcome throughout the entire time. Also on my Birthday the hotel did a lot of effort and surprised me with a healthy and delicious birthday breakfast 🙂
Due to the excellent service, the beautiful beaches and amazing food I can definitely recommend the St. Regis Mauritius Resort and would definitely come back 🙂
My Secret Tips for The St. Regis Mauritius Resort:
1) Visit the lobster dinner at Boat House
2) Book a facial in the spa
3) Watch the stunning sunset at the beach
