Today I wanna introduce one of the by far best hotels I’ve ever stayed at to you guys: The MAIA Resort & Spa. You might have already watched my YouTube video:

I can think of one word for this hotel: Pure LUXURY!

The resort is definitely something special 🙂 I will reveal why in this blog post:

The resort has over 30 rooms or rather villas because there are no rooms or suites available but only huge villas. Due to the low amount of villas it is rather a small resort which I definitely always prefer. The service is thus very indivual and personal. For instance every employee already knows who you are and addresses you via name. Every villa comes with its own butler who tries to fulfill all of your wishes 🙂

We for instance wished for a flower bath and some fresh coconuts. All was fullfilled shortly afterwards 😀

The villas are from the interior and size quite similar. They only differ by the location and thus the view. There are some villas located directly at the beach and a few on top of the hill. We had the honor staying in one of the wonderful hilltop villas. The view from our villa was simply breathtaking 😀

But also the rest of our villa was a dream! I’ve for instance never stayed in a hotel before with not only one but even two own infinity pools. This is the case at MAIA Resort & Spa 😀

What we also recognized immediately is not only the first class service at the hotel but also the feeling that you have the resort all by yourself 😀 Most hotel guest spend their time in the beautifull villas. Hence, the pool or beach is empty most of the times. This makes you almost feel like you’re on a deserted island. Although you will see that you will hardly ever leave the villa yourself because they are simply so huge and stunning 😀 Hence, the resort is especially suited for honeymooners and successful couples. I’ve hardly ever felt this relaxed in a resort like at MAIA Resort & Spa.

The entire food at the resort is excellent! I especially loved that you can eat any time of the day either in the restaurant or in your own villa. This means that you won’t feel forced sticking to any breakfast times etc. Every guest is on an all inclusive basis in the resort. Hence, you won’t need to use your credit card at any time and even some great vines are included.

For those who wanna treat themselves to something special there is a very nice selection of vines available in the resort’s own vine cellar. Because I don’t drink alcohol I was rather impressed by the design than the content of the cellar 😛 But I know that for instance my Dad would’ve freaked out 😀

The hotel also offers many extras: For instance diving (including equipment) is completely free during your entire stay. Also all other water activities such as standup paddle boarding, surfing etc. are included.

Being a sporty person I was impressed most by the free yoga lessons each morning at 8am. This was the first thing we did each morning. Of course the hotel also has a gym which will even open for you at crazy times 😉

For those who wanna enjoy a nice treatment there is of course also a stunning spa on the property. Also here the MAIA Resort & Spa is special because it is not a regular spa: All treatments can be done either in your own villa or in free nature. You get to choose among five different oils and also the spa staff is highly qualified and will target your problem areas. My problem is always my neck due to the high amount of work on the PC so my massage therapist did an amazing job by targeting this area and it felt much better afterwards.
