22 May Our Stay at Four Seasons Resort Sayan in Ubud, Bali
When I entered this resort for the first time I almost couldn’t breathe 😀 It rained for the first time during our stay in Bali and I was still simply blown away by the beauty of this place 🙂 The Four Seasons Resort Sayan is located directly in the jungle in the most beautiful city in Bali: in Ubud. The hotel is surrounded my huge rice terraces, impressive waterfalls, stunning temples etc. Hence, the location of the resort is already perfect, as well as the design of the hotel which simply took our breath away 😀
Already the hotel lobby, which is most of the times very conclusive for the entire hotel, has been designed just beautifully. It really seems to be just one with the stunning nature. Due to the high privacy of the resort many celebrities visit the Four Seasons Resort Sayan and the movie Eat, Pray, Love with Julia Roberts was also filmed here 🙂

The hotel has been designed like a rice bowl and it really fits perfectly into the entire landscape of Ubud. Especially for all nature and gardening lovers this resort is simply a dream coming true!

Already the own rice fields and the tons of water lilies make the Four Seasons Resort Sayan so special!
We had the honor staying in a One Bedroom Pool Villa which we fell in love with immediately 🙂
Also our bathroom including the bathtub and the direkt palm tree was simply stunning!
Depending on your budget there are many categories of accomodation available at Four Seasons Resort Sayan. If you’re not staying in a pool villa you can also enjoy the view from the beautiful infinity pool.
Also the food in the resort are totally up to Four Seasons’ standards! Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Hence, it was a paradise for me at Four Seasons Resort Sayan 😀 I cannot decide whether I prefer having breakfast at the buffet with this dream view…
….or breakfast in our own villa including absolute privacy 😀 The room service was definitely excellent!
Also all other restaurants at Four Seasons Resort Sayan are amazing! The day we arrived we had dinner at the French Restaurant Riverside Café. After having eaten lots of seafood the days before I was totally excited about getting such a delicious steak along with a great alcohol-free cocktail that we enjoyed directly by the water 🙂
The overall service at the hotel is excellent! All employees at Four Seasons Resort Sayan are extremely friendly and don’t leave any of your wishes open 🙂
The hotel also has an amazing spa and great gym with this perfect view. A detailed blog post will follow 😉
I already thought the Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Bay (read my hotel review here) was an incredible resort but the Four Seasons Resort Sayan cannot be beaten in my opinion! The Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Bay is located at a beautiful beach and is in my opinion especially suited for families and couples or friends that are looking for a bit entertainment on vacation. The hotel even has its own beach club. The Four Seasons Resort Sayan in comparison offers absolute privacy and relaxation. It stands out through its breath-taking landscape that together with its great design make to me the perfect holiday resort. I will definitely come back to the Four Seasons Resort Sayan at is has become my absolute favorite hotel in Bali 🙂
