04 Apr My Top 10 Highlights in New Zealand
Hi lovelies,
our New Zealand trip is unfortunately already over. Time to introduce my ten best moments there to you guys. It was quite difficult making an exact ranking so this is more like an estimate 😉
Have you ever been to New Zealand? And if so what were your highlights there?
My Top 10 Highlights in New Zealand:
10) Sky Jump
Who would’ve thought that I would dare to jump from the tallest building in the southern hemisphere?! Definitely not me 😛 Nevertheless, I like to challenge myself. Hence, I would do it anytime again 😀 Best to do it directly after getting of the airplane so you won’t fall asleep 😛 Here you can see more pictures of the jump.
9) Abel Tasman National Park
I love national parks. I especially liked the Abel Tasman National Park which stands out through its partly crystal clear water, stunning beaches and relaxed atmosphere. Hence, you should definitely visit it while your’re in New Zealand. Find my tips for the Abel Tasman National Park here.
8) Scenic Flight to Milford Sound
I would’ve loved to do the flight from Queenstown to Milford Sound myself 😉 At least I was able to sit in the front 😀 Although the seat doesn’t matter as you have a nice view over Milford Sound from every seat! See more pictures from our flight here.
7) Waiheke
Waiheke is a rather undiscovered island not far away from Auckland. Many tourists don’t think about going there, maybe that’s the reason why it’s such a lovely place. For sure Waiheke’s landscape is a dream and definitely worth a visit! Here you can see more pictures of Waiheke.
6) Ziplining
I love nature, the feeling of adventure and action. Therefore, ziplining is so much fun in New Zealand! We tried it out in Waiheke. There are even three different ziplining stations and a beautiful hike through the jungle on the way back. It is definitely a one of a kind experience 🙂 See more pictures from ziplining here.
5) Paragliding
I love everything that has to do with flying. Doing paragliding was a premiere for me in New Zealand. I don’t think there is a better place to try it out then in Queenstown. The panorama from above is simply breath-taking 🙂 Here you can see more pictures from paragliding.
4) Skydiving
If you are an adrenaline junkie like myself you should definitely do the skydive from 15,000 ft in Queenstown. I think I’ve hardly ever been that excited for something 😀 It really was an incredible experience! See more pictures from my skydive here.
3) Heli Flight
For all those that are celebrating a special occasion or simply wanna enjoy a stunning panorama a flight with a heli in Queenstown is a must do. It was also my first time to do it. Not only was the flight already a dream, the pilot stops on top of a mountain where you get to enjoy a breath-taking panorama! See even more pictures of our flight here.
2) Queenstown
Queenstown has become one of my absolute favorite cities in the world. I don’t know any other place where you can combine so much action with so much beautiful nature. Hence, Queenstown was definitely one of my highlights of this trip and I would love to return one day 🙂 Find my travel tips for Queenstown here.
1) Swimming with Dolphins
My absolute highlight in New Zealand (and also of my my biggest highlights ever) was swimming with wild dolphins in Kaikoura. I would have never though that we would actually get to see that many and that they are such playful and gorgeous animals. I cannot wait to share my videos with you guys 🙂 Find even more pictures with the dolphins here.
