18 Dec Christmas 2015 and my feelings
Christmas is coming closer and closer. Somehow I’m not really feeling the Christmas vibe yet. Maybe it’s because it’s not really cold in Germany yet so it feels more like fall.
I need to admit that I find a white Christmas most beautiful 🙂 I still remember Christmas 3 or 4 years ago where it was snowing so much that I walked to church in my snow boots. That was really amazing!
I really love Christmas time! Hence, I never travel in December because I find is best to just be at home. I usually go to my parent’s place one or two weeks before Christmas. Then I decorate the tree with my Mom, bake tons of Christmas cookies for my brother and sit together with my family every evening looking forward to Christmas.

The roster of my boyfriend is just perfect this year! He is off on Christmas Eve, on Christmas Day and on New Year’s Eve and he just has standby on January 1st. Hence, we can celebrate both Christmas and New Year’s Eve together this year 🙂
Christmas is always the same for us. On Christmas Eve I go to church with my parents and my brother, thereafter we’re having fondue and later in the evening we’re unwrapping the Christmas presents. My Dad plays cheesy Christmas songs and I’m getting a bit sentimental 😛 Every year the same procedure 😀 Hi hi

My boyfriend will celebrate Christmas Eve at home with his parents and come to us around midnight. Then we will first have a delicious Christmas breaky the next morning.
On Christmas Day we are usually having something light in the evening such as soup and salad. And the day after we usually have dinner in a nice restaurant. Because my boyfriend has to work the day after Christmas we decided to go on Christmas Day to a nice restaurant this year. So we booked a table at my favorite restaurant in Frankfurt which I’m really looking forward to 🙂
But I’m most looking forward to spending some quality time with my favorite people. I will neclect my mobile phone, laptop and my work a bit during Christmas because my family and my boyfriend have deserved it. Nothing is better than spending a wonderful evening with wonderful people. Isn’t that what Christmas is all about?! Hence, it’s not so bad if there is no white Christmas this year 😉
