Healthy Tiramisu – Low carb & low fat

Hi sweeties,

today I have a recipe for you guys which also serves as a great Christmas time dessert. I’m a huge lover of Italian food. Hence, I adore Tiramisu as dessert very much. Unfortunately the original is loaded with sugar and fat. Therefore I’ve created a healthy version of Tiramisu for you guys which is not only low carb but also low fat 😉

Instead of using sponge fingers I’m using Oopsies. Of course you may use regular (or gluten-free) sponge fingers instead. Oopsies are also great as low carb rolls for burgers etc.

Ingredients | Oopsies (for approx. 6 pieces)

  • 4 beaten egg white (the egg white need to be REALLY stiff)
  • 2 – 4 egg yolk
  • 100g light cream cheese

Ingredients | Oopsies

  • Mix all ingredients well.
  • Place 6 portions on a covered sheet.
  • Bake them in the oven at 180°C for approx. 10 – 15 minutes.

Ingredients | Healthy Tiramisu

  • All ingredients for Oopsies (see above)
  • 500g light curd or greek yogurt
  • 1 package fat and sugar free vanilla pudding + milk of your choice
  • Sweetener of your choice
  • A lot of espresso (or alternatively 2 – 3 cups of strong coffee)
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder

Ingredients | Healthy Tiramisu

  • Prepare Oopsies according directions.
  • Prepare vanilla pudding according directions on package.
  • Mix pudding with curd or greek yogurt and sweetener.
  • Soak oopsies in espresso (or strong coffee).
  • In a dessert bowl add one layer oopsies, then one layer pudding creme.
  • Repeat last step for approx. 3 times.
  • Put Tiramisu in fridge for at least 5 hours.
  • Sprinkle with cocoa.
