30 Nov Formula 1 Race, Fireworks & Cheesecake Factory – Abu Dhabi Travel Diary Day 3
Hi lovelies,
our time in Abu Dhabi is unfortunately already over. Tomorrow morning at 6 am (3 am German time) we will fly back home. I’m really looking forward to the local Christmas market in Munich π
We really had an incredible time here in Abu Dhabi. I wanna thank LTUR again for making everything possible π
Our last day was very nice again. We were so lucky having tickets for the Formula 1 Race. This was a highlight for us.
Before that we were planning on going to theΒ Ferrari World and riding the fastest rollercoaster of the world. Unfortunately Isabelle and I didn’t know that one needs to wear long pants. I wore a jumpsuit, Isabelle a medium long dress; both were not long enough π Hence, only Hannah and Sabrina were able to ride the rollercoaster π So if you plan on visiting the Ferrari World wear something long π
Nevertheless, Isabelle and I had a wonderful day. We first started it with some FroYo π Pay attention though! The FroYo store right next to the Ferrari World sells delicious FroYo. However, it is really expensive. We paid 12β¬ each which was way too much.
Thereafter, we walked throughΒ Yas Mall again which is directly next to the Ferrari World. Isabelle and I stocked up on some Christmas presents at Bath & Body Works. I love this store anyways because you can buy many small and cute things there.
All four of us had lunch atΒ Cheesecake Factory. The food there is amazing! Isabelle and I shared a “Kale Salad” and “Skinnylicious Chicken Tacos”… ha ha.
This left enough room for two fat cheesecakes for dessert π We decided to go for the “Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake” and the “Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake”. Both tasted simply amazing! So if you’re ever there try them out π
Later we went to the Formula 1 Race which was also onΒ Yas Island. We had really great tickets. Hence, we could see the cars very well π
No idea what I was laughing about here. Maybe the sleepy head in the back π Find myΒ Outfit Post to this look here π
In the end the Germany driver Nico Rosberg won the race. Hence, our cheering had some effect π
The perfect end to a perfect day were the beautiful fireworks at the end of the Formula 1 Race. I’m super thankful for the entire experience π
In conclusion I can say that we really had a great time here in Abu Dhabi. From a cultural point of view Abu Dhabi is a big contrast to Germany. However, I think it is super interesting to explore completely different culture sometimes π
My personal highlights of our trips were the desert safari (including the camels and sand boarding), the Grand Mosque and the Formula 1 Race. Three things that you should really experience once in your life π
I also wanna thank the three girls Hannah, Sabrina und Isabelle. I had such a great time with you girls! Everything was so uncomplicated π Really amazing! I’m sure it wasn’t our last trip π
To everyone else: I’m wishing you an amazing start of the week β‘
Xoxo
