16 Nov New island Kandolhu, Infinity Pool & Underwater World – Maldives Travel Diary Day 11 – 13
Hi lovelies,
I’m back in Germany now so I have time to review our last three days in paradise. Especially towards the end of our trip we did a lot of activities. That’s why I wasn’t able to blog every single day. Although I find it important to sometimes just put the mobile and laptop away in order to be able to fully relax 😀
Nevertheless, in this blog post I wanna point out some highlights of our last days in the Maldives 🙂
New hotel – Kandolhu
Just as the last two resorts “Kandolhu” also belongs to Universal Resorts, hence the same hotel group. That’s the reason why we were able to test three islands from Universal Resorts.
We were received by Kandolhu with some yummy smoothies 🙂
I couldn’t believe my eyes seeing our bathroom and this view for the first time 😀
The landscape of Kandolhu is simply beautiful!
The style of the hotel is very modern which we liked.
Drone Aviation
On Kandolhu we flew with our drone again. We got some amazing captures there 🙂
Underwater World
On Maafushivaru, as well as on Kandolhu we went snorkling or diving every single day. Both islands offer an incredible variety of fish, turtles, rays and sharks 😀 Here are some of our best pics:
We immediately fell in love with the tiny baby sharks that you get to see plenty of on Kandolhu 🙂

Amazing Food
The food on Kandolhu is really awesome! Especially the breakfast and the view are a dream 🙂

To conclude I can say that we will definitely return to the Maldives. It is planned for January/ February 2017. Unfortunately we were not so lucky with the weather this November so I think next time we will rather fly to the Maldives end of winter. Besides that the Maldives are a dream destination and I can definitely recommend it 🙂
