Hi lovelies,

here is my first blog post from the Maldives. I am still totally overwhelmed by all the wonderful things we’ve experienced already on our first day here in paradise 🙂

Our breakfast in the airport lounge of Malé.

It all started with a stunning flight from Malé to Kadhdhoo.

From there we went on a boat to our resort. On the boat we were offered fresh coconut and yummy selfmade lemonade 🙂

It has always been my dream seeing dolphins swimming in the wild. Who would’ve thought this wish would already come true on our first day 🙂 We saw dozens of dolphins swimming right next to our boat. I almost cried because it was such a touching moment 😀

I had the second moment of joy seeing our water villa for the first time. We are staying in the Six Senses Resort Laamu and might have the most beautiful villa on the whole island. A few tears of joy ran down my cheek as I’ve never seen something as beautiful as this.

The perfect end to a perfect day was the most colorful and stunning sunset ever 🙂 I decided to NOT edit all of the sunset pictures so you can actually see how amazing the sunsets over here really are; even without increasing the saturation, contrast… and absolutely NO photoshop 😛

We ended the day with a first class dinner in the organic restaurant “The Leaf”. The food was out of this world and exactly how I like it as the food there is also super healthy. We had the honor having dinner with the Manager of PR & Marketing. She is a really wonderful person. She also did a little island tour with us so we could get some impressions of this beautiful and large island.
