Macarons are one of the most delicious desserts ever! They are also great as a gift π
In the following you can find detailed instructions (which are also great for beginners) + 2 healthy filling ideas:
Ingredients | Macarons Dough
- 80g fine ground almonds or almond flour
- 120g powdered sugar
- 50g egg white (approx. 2 eggs size M)
- 20g βfinestβ sugar (there is also “fine sugar”, but “finest sugar” is even better)
- A bit food coloring
Ingredients | Healthy Cheesecake Filling
- 1 tablespoon sweetener of your choice
- 100g light cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon gelatin powder (or vegan alternative)
- Optional: A bit food coloring
Ingredients | Clean Chocolate Filling
- Approx. 30g chocolate chips with high cocoa content
- 1 tablespoon sweetener of your choice
- 1 egg yolk

For Christmas you may also decorate your Macarons with a Clean Sugar Icing π
Ingredients | Clean Sugar Icing
- 1 egg white (can be substituted by lemon juice or water for vegan version)
- Sugar-free powdered sugar
Of course you may also use completely sugar-free substitutes but they won’t turn out as nicely as the regular one π
