13 Oct Puppy Kisses, Central Park & Brooklyn Bridge – NYC Travel Diary Day 3 & 4
NYC Day 3
Yesterday we had quite a relaxed day. That was totally necessary after the active past few days in New fuckin’ York π
We started the day with a delicious brunch at “Butcher’s Daughter”.The restaurant is quite famous and many VIPs are supposed to go there. No surprise… the food is amazing!
I went for the “Granola with Greek Yogurt and fresh Berries”. Xenia and Daniel decided to try out the “Eggs Benedict”. Both is recommendable! You also need to order the green juice. It’s not only healthy, it also tastes amazing!
After brunch I wanted to show Southstreet Seaport to Xenia. Unfortunately I had to realize that it’s not anymore how it used to be :/
However, you still have a nice view over the Brooklyn Bridge.
If you’re interested in our cool caps, just have a look at Daniel Jonas π They even offer worlwide shipping.
For dinner we went to a really nice restaurant: ” Grand Cafe” on Lafayette. It’s a French restaurant with extremely great atmosphere and delicious food.
NYC Day 3
This day started really productive. Both Xenia and I had to work half of the day. So we were especially looking forward to some delicious brunch. Xenia told me about a great restaurant where they sell Acai Smoothies. It’s called “The Bean”. Being an acai lover I just had to go there π
I went for theΒ “Acai Power Smoothie” and a gluten-free “Cinnamon Raisin Bagel” with cream cheese. For only $11 it was not only one of the cheapest, but also one of the best meals we’ve had. I love that New York has so many healthy restaurant options. I will also write a detailed blog post about my favorite healthy restaurants in NYC π
Thereafter, we went to visit Central Park. I used to live there (on the Upper West Side, Central Park West) so for me it felt like coming home π
It was Xenia’s first time in Central Park so I wanted to show a few nice spots to her. Altough we’ve already gotten recommended the most beautiful spot by a friend of ours.
You get there by rock climbing. The amazing view from above there is definitely worth it π
On our way to the subway we met the cutest dog ever. I wanted to keep him π
Later we went to explore the East Side of Manhattan a bit. Overall it was another truly beautiful day! I can hardly believe we still have over 1 week left here to explore NYC π
I hope you also had a beautiful day π
Xoxo
