Brunch in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel & Columbus Circle – NYC Travel Diary Day 2
NYC Day 2
This morning we woke up with only little sleep after the long night yesterday. Hence, the brunch in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel was perfect timing 😛
On vacation I’m a brunch lover because I usually sleep in and therefore combine breakfast with lunch.
Xenia and I had the honor to be invited to the weekend brunch in the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Being a foodie this was perfect for me. There is almost nothing more beautiful than combining good food with a good view.
The brunch was a four courses menue. We could choose between several options. Here is a little Food Diary so you can get an impression:
Amuse Bouche – Honestly I’m not sure what it was exactly 😛 But it tasted delicious.
Appetizer – Mango Parfait consisting of greek yogurt, mango, granola, chia seeds and coconut.
Entreé – Grilled prime flat iron steak with crumbled eggs.
Dessert – Cheesecake with graham cracker crumble and warm grape sauce.
After brunch we enjoyed this incredible view 😀
Thereafter we went to Columbus Circle.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend 🙂
